MISSION
Football Ranking provides
information about the fans' preferences regarding players,
keepers, coaches, legends, clubs, sportswear, shirtpsponsors,
national teams, stadiums and referees. This information
is generated directly through the fans without interference
from any organisation.
FR is an independent organization; this ensures that
both the fans as well as their chosen favourites are
registered in such a way that the ranking are fully
transparent and a true reflection of their input.
Through its national and international rankings, FR’s
objective is to bring football fans, clubs and sponsors
closer together and thereby set the standard in the world
of football.
Therefore FR will rollout the concept to other countries.
Subsequently during the 3rd quarter of 2005 FR will
launch its new first national football rankings for
The Netherlands, England, Germany and Belgium. At the
end of the day, it is the ambition of FR to ensure
that every serious football nation has its own National
FR rankings.
HISTORY
FootballRanking was founded
in 2000 with Footballranking.com. This was due to the
need with a majority of football fans for an independent,
reliable, worldwide football ranking.
Over the past five years of its existence the FR team
continued to be supported by enthusiastic fans from
all over the world. Together they have dedicated their
time and energy towards building this "new standard".
Today the FR team knows a supporting network of over
a hundred 'Associated Sites' and newsgroups.
Furthermore companies as Wanadoo, AllSports, PlayStation,
Nike, JVC, Soccerway and others, have also frequently
contributed to the making of its success today. |

THE
WORLD NEEDS BALLS
Children are our future and every child has the right
to play.
Through the universal game of football we can inspire
children to have fun.
As they often don't have all the material to play the
game, they many times
make the neccessary equipment themselves. And it works!
No problem!
But they haven't got any reference to know what the real
material feels like.
Nor do they know what it is like to play with high quality
footballs.
In 2000 The World Needs Ball started to raise the worldwide
attention for children projects.
FRI also promotes organizations like the Johan Cruyff
Welfare
